Writing

Scholarship and Public Humanities

My writing explores migration, religion, diaspora, and memory through both academic and public-facing forms. I am interested in producing scholarship that is rigorous, accessible, and meaningful to the communities whose histories it engages.

Selected Areas of Writing

  • Indo-Guyanese migration and religious life
  • Indian indenture in British Guiana
  • Mandirs, devotional music, and community archives
  • Oral history, family memory, and public humanities
